Ginger bread houses....oh what fun

Grammie made real gingerbread from scratch and we made gingerbread houses... The kids had so much fun and Grammie always goes the extra mile for the Grandkids to make it special!
Amara opened up a can of No No, when we got her down from the table one two many times, she was bending over and had a red face, but she still look so dang cute. All the adults could do was smile and laugh...
Oh what friends... Braylee's hard at work...oh what a house it is...

Karsten is getting lots of stuff to go on his house he worked so hard, and had blue crazy lights everywhere...
Keeley's finished house with the crooked walkway...Aunt Mel helped her finish...thanks
The kids and the Adults had lots of fun we even decorated a real house...Many Thanks to Grandma for all of her hard work making it special!

Christmas @ Grampies and Grammies

Melodie had to work Christmas Eve and Christmas this year so we celebrated early at Mom and Dad's house, we got there about 7:30 and open presents, then had a grand breakfast....

Marcie spent hours doing scrapbooks for all of the kids, I think that they were a big hit and one of the favorite gifts that the kids got...

The kids also got digital cameras from Grampie and Grammie and they have been a huge hit...here are some of the pictures...

This is Braylee all that is missing is her head...

We went up to Midway on the 22nd to go snowmobling with my family and have a get together all very innocent fun til someone loses and eye....or that is the saying, we came just a little to close for comfort
These first 2 are in the truck as we are sitting in the parking lot on the hospital going into the ER. Luckly there were no fractures, chalk it up to his hard head...the small round half circle is where he hit his cheek on the handle bars.
This is in the morning of the 23rd the bruise is getting worse but not quite purple enough yet.... wait for it...
This is in the evening on the 23rd, it had really purpled up by then and was still really swollen...
28th of December nice and yellow, but still really purple, if you look close you can see that he does have a white rim under his eye where the swelling has gone down... he had a follow up today with Dr. Pearson and he confirmed that there were no fractures and it is just soft tissue damage, we also found out that his sinus look great, so he doesn't need surgery, as if I could possible talk him into it, even if he did.... whatever!
By the way with a little help from a sledge hammer to pound out the bent ski we think that the snowmobile with make a full recovery, I am sure the nextime he get on it will be with a full helmet however...

I'm the Doctor...

Grampie always plays a game with the kids and lets them put bandaids where he has all of his scratches...tonight the kids got a little carried away as you can see by the picture... but kids laughed and giggled and Grampie was a good sport. Krya and Brecklyn kept saying, I'm the doctor and your the nurse and they would argue about it suprising right? not really!
