Ginger bread houses....oh what fun

Grammie made real gingerbread from scratch and we made gingerbread houses... The kids had so much fun and Grammie always goes the extra mile for the Grandkids to make it special!
Amara opened up a can of No No, when we got her down from the table one two many times, she was bending over and had a red face, but she still look so dang cute. All the adults could do was smile and laugh...
Oh what friends... Braylee's hard at work...oh what a house it is...

Karsten is getting lots of stuff to go on his house he worked so hard, and had blue crazy lights everywhere...
Keeley's finished house with the crooked walkway...Aunt Mel helped her finish...thanks
The kids and the Adults had lots of fun we even decorated a real house...Many Thanks to Grandma for all of her hard work making it special!

Christmas @ Grampies and Grammies

Melodie had to work Christmas Eve and Christmas this year so we celebrated early at Mom and Dad's house, we got there about 7:30 and open presents, then had a grand breakfast....

Marcie spent hours doing scrapbooks for all of the kids, I think that they were a big hit and one of the favorite gifts that the kids got...

The kids also got digital cameras from Grampie and Grammie and they have been a huge hit...here are some of the pictures...

This is Braylee all that is missing is her head...

Rocks 1 Ryan 0

We went up to Midway on the 22nd to go snowmobling with my family and have a get together all very innocent fun til someone loses and eye....or that is the saying, we came just a little to close for comfort
These first 2 are in the truck as we are sitting in the parking lot on the hospital going into the ER. Luckly there were no fractures, chalk it up to his hard head...the small round half circle is where he hit his cheek on the handle bars.
This is in the morning of the 23rd the bruise is getting worse but not quite purple enough yet.... wait for it...
This is in the evening on the 23rd, it had really purpled up by then and was still really swollen...
28th of December nice and yellow, but still really purple, if you look close you can see that he does have a white rim under his eye where the swelling has gone down... he had a follow up today with Dr. Pearson and he confirmed that there were no fractures and it is just soft tissue damage, we also found out that his sinus look great, so he doesn't need surgery, as if I could possible talk him into it, even if he did.... whatever!
By the way with a little help from a sledge hammer to pound out the bent ski we think that the snowmobile with make a full recovery, I am sure the nextime he get on it will be with a full helmet however...

I'm the Doctor...

Grampie always plays a game with the kids and lets them put bandaids where he has all of his scratches...tonight the kids got a little carried away as you can see by the picture... but kids laughed and giggled and Grampie was a good sport. Krya and Brecklyn kept saying, I'm the doctor and your the nurse and they would argue about it suprising right? not really!

Ode...Aly any day

Nelson's Jett Oden joined our family on 11/22/07 he is the newest member of the family and already he fits right in with us... we have had a few squabbles about who gets to hold him and who has held him the longest...but we are working our way through them... one day at a time.
Aly on the other hand can't wait for the day when she will be a mother again and not be so uncomfortable...she makes funny noises when she sleeps and snores...she waddles and is getting to be kind-of onery... but she is prengant so I understand and can cut her some slack...

Puppies

Jade had Puppies!!! WE ARE SO EXCITED the kids really love it when one of the girls has a liter, I love it also, but the kids really do. We had 4 girls and 3 boys, sadly Jade was unable to stay off one of the girls and she laid on it and she died so now we have 3/3. Day that they were born 11/17/07
Taken 11/25/07 a week old

Thanksgiving

We had dinner at Mom and Dads with the whole clan there...we set up a table for the 2 youngest and for the 4 in the middle they had lots of fun eating at their own table without all of the adults to boss them... not that that stopped them from bossing the adults for more food...
Some were in a better mood than others....this is the mean white girl look that we always talk about Kyra was just demonstrating it for her fans...lol

After dinner was cleaned up the kids found the Grinch and carried him down stairs...

The two youngest really have quite the beat going on...
We hope that this year season finds you well wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving...

t-ball

Braylee Karsten and Keeley all did baseball this summer and really loved it. The games got to be a little challanging for Mom and Dad when we had 3 games at the same time... we sure had fun eating dogs at the park!
